Fred combines many years of experience in energy purchasing and procurement advisory with senior management roles at Akzo Nobel, General Electric and Kawasaki Steel.
He co-founded EPIC Polymers, where he served as Director of Marketing and Technology. Its long-fibre thermoplastics business and technology were acquired by Solvay in 2015. His background brings together industrial expertise, commercial negotiation and entrepreneurship.

Machiel brings experience in sustainable heat, with a particular focus on heat transport. Through the Warmtecarrousel traineeship, he gained experience across the project development chain, from the client’s perspective to the contractor’s.
His background includes work at Impuls advies and an analytical focus on business processes, data science and data management. He combines this with a practical understanding of the challenges involved in developing heat infrastructure.
